BOOKINGS AND CONCLUSION OF CONTRACTS

Accommodation at Maris Oasis Resort and Kamp Jasenovo may be booked through www.marisoasis.hr using the connected online booking system or by contacting the Service Provider directly through the available communication channels.

When booking, users select their preferred accommodation category, dates of stay, number of guests and any additional services, subject to availability. Users must provide accurate, complete and truthful information required to process the reservation, including the number of adults, the number and ages of children, and any other details that may affect the price and conditions of the service.

Based on the user’s enquiry or selected services, the Service Provider issues an offer specifying the accommodation, dates of stay, price, advance payment (deposit), payment method and validity period of the offer.

The validity period is determined by the Service Provider and clearly stated in each offer. The user confirms the reservation by paying the required deposit within the offer’s validity period.

A reservation is considered confirmed once the Service Provider receives the deposit within the specified period. Written confirmation of the reservation is then sent to the user by email.

If the user does not pay the deposit within the deadline specified in the offer, the offer expires and the Service Provider is not obliged to keep the accommodation available. Any subsequent payment is subject to a new availability check and confirmation by the Service Provider.

The offer is prepared on the basis of the information provided by the user when booking, and the stated price applies exclusively to the agreed services and the declared number and composition of guests. The user is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided and must promptly notify the Service Provider of any changes that may affect the reservation or accommodation price.

If, at check-in or during the stay, the actual number of guests, children’s ages, type of accommodation equipment or additional services used differ from the confirmed reservation, the Service Provider may charge the price difference in accordance with the applicable price list and booking conditions, provided that the relevant prices and calculation method were available to the user before confirmation of the reservation.

The offer and booking confirmation do not constitute the final invoice for services provided. The final amount payable is calculated on the basis of the agreed and actually used services, taking into account any deposit already paid. The final invoice is issued during the stay or at check-out in accordance with applicable regulations.

The contractual relationship for the provision of accommodation services is established between the user and KAMP JASENOVO d.o.o., which is responsible for providing the reserved services in accordance with the applicable booking and payment terms.

By paying the deposit, the user confirms acceptance of the booking, payment and cancellation terms made available before payment.

The Service Provider reserves the right to contact the user to verify or supplement information necessary to fulfil the reservation.

PRICES AND TOURIST TAX

Accommodation prices at Maris Oasis Resort and Kamp Jasenovo are stated in euros (EUR), include applicable value added tax (VAT), and are determined according to the Service Provider’s current price list, selected accommodation category, dates of stay, number and composition of guests, and additional services.

The total reservation price is calculated on the basis of the information supplied by the user when booking. The user is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of that information, including the number of adults, the number and ages of children, type of camping equipment, number of vehicles, pets and any other circumstances that may affect the accommodation price.

The price stated in the offer applies only to the agreed services and the information specified in the reservation. Subsequent changes, including changes to the number or composition of guests, extension of the stay or use of additional services, may result in a change to the total price in accordance with the applicable price list and booking terms.

If, at check-in or during the stay, discrepancies are identified between the reservation details and the actual circumstances, the Service Provider may charge the difference for additional or differently used services according to the prices and calculation rules communicated to the user before confirmation of the reservation.

Additional guests, vehicles, camping equipment or pets not included in the confirmed reservation are subject to prior availability checks and approval by the Service Provider, as well as any applicable surcharge under the price list.

Tourist tax is calculated in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia and decisions of the competent authorities. If tourist tax is not included in the accommodation price, its amount must be clearly communicated to the user before the reservation is confirmed.

All additional services not included in the confirmed reservation are charged according to the applicable price list, with the user being informed of their price in advance.

The offer and booking confirmation do not constitute a final invoice. The final amount payable is calculated on the basis of agreed and actually used services, taking into account any deposit already paid. The final invoice is issued during the stay or at check-out in accordance with applicable regulations.

Subsequent changes to published prices do not affect the price of a previously confirmed reservation unless the agreed services have changed or other circumstances expressly allowing a price adjustment have arisen.

PAYMENT METHODS AND TERMS

Accommodation at Maris Oasis Resort and Kamp Jasenovo may be paid for through the online booking system, by bank transfer or directly at reception, in accordance with the conditions specified in the offer or booking confirmation.

Advance payment (deposit)

To confirm a reservation, the user must pay a deposit in the amount and within the deadline stated in the offer or during the online booking process.

Payment of the deposit constitutes confirmation of the reservation and acceptance of the applicable booking, payment and cancellation terms.

If the deposit is not paid within the specified deadline, the offer expires and the Service Provider is not obliged to keep the offered accommodation available.

If the requested accommodation is no longer available when a late payment is received, the guest will be offered an alternative accommodation category, subject to current availability, or a full refund of the amount paid.

The guest acknowledges that the price of an alternative accommodation category may differ from the price stated in the original offer. Any price difference will be clearly indicated in a new offer, and the replacement reservation will be confirmed only with the guest’s prior consent.

If the guest does not accept the proposed alternative or suitable accommodation is unavailable, the full amount paid will be refunded.

Payment methods

The Service Provider offers the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards: One-time online payment through the secure CorvusPay system using Visa, Mastercard and Maestro cards, or other cards supported and displayed by the system at the time of payment.
  • Bank transfer: Payment to the Service Provider’s bank account using the details and instructions provided in the offer or pro forma invoice.
  • Payment at reception: Payment of the remaining reservation balance and additional services in cash or by accepted payment cards, in accordance with the payment terms.

Online card payments and transaction security

Online card payments are processed through CorvusPay, operated by Corvus Info d.o.o.

Payment card details are entered through a secure payment interface. The Service Provider neither receives nor stores complete payment card details, including the CVV/CVC security code.

Data processing during payment is carried out in accordance with applicable security standards and personal data protection rules.

Payment of the remaining balance

  • Maris Homes – mobile homes: The user must pay the remaining agreed accommodation price at check-in, unless the full amount has already been paid or expressly agreed otherwise. Any additional services used during the stay that are not included in the confirmed reservation are charged according to the applicable price list and paid for at check-out.
  • Kamp Jasenovo – camping pitches: The user may pay the remaining agreed accommodation price at check-in, during the stay or at check-out, at their discretion. Any additional services used during the stay are charged according to the applicable price list. All outstanding amounts must be settled no later than check-out.

Any deposit already paid is deducted from the final amount payable.

Payment confirmation and invoicing

Following a successful online transaction, the user receives payment confirmation through the booking or payment system.

The Service Provider issues the appropriate invoices in accordance with the applicable tax and accounting regulations of the Republic of Croatia.

Confirmation of a card transaction does not constitute the final invoice for accommodation services provided.

BOOKING CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

The user has the right to cancel a confirmed reservation at Maris Oasis Resort or Kamp Jasenovo, subject to the cancellation conditions stated in the offer, booking confirmation and these General Terms and Conditions.

Cancellation conditions

To confirm a reservation, the user must pay a deposit in the amount and within the deadline stated in the offer or during the online booking process.

Unless different conditions have been expressly agreed in the offer or booking confirmation, the following rules apply:

  • 30 or more days before the scheduled arrival date: refund of 100% of the deposit paid.
  • 29 to 15 days before the scheduled arrival date: refund of 50% of the deposit paid.
  • 14 days or fewer before the scheduled arrival date: the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation periods are calculated by reference to the scheduled arrival date stated in the booking confirmation.

Cancellation procedure

The user must submit a cancellation request in writing to the Service Provider’s email address specified in the booking confirmation.

A cancellation is deemed received when the Service Provider receives the user’s written notice.

Refund of payments

If the user is entitled to a deposit refund under the applicable terms, the Service Provider will issue the refund within 14 days of confirmation of the cancellation, unless expressly agreed otherwise with the user.

Refunds are generally made using the same payment method as the original deposit, unless technical limitations or an agreement with the user require another method.

Exceptional circumstances and justified reasons for cancellation

If a reservation is cancelled due to exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, such as serious illness, hospitalisation, a death in the immediate family or other justified reasons preventing arrival, the Service Provider may consider a partial or full refund of the deposit, notwithstanding the standard cancellation conditions.

Each request is assessed individually, taking into account the circumstances of the cancellation, the time the request was received and any supporting documentation submitted to substantiate the reason for cancellation.

A decision on any refund is made after assessing all relevant circumstances. Submitting a request based on exceptional circumstances does not automatically entitle the user to a refund, except where such a right arises under applicable law.

No-shows and early departures

In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation, the deposit paid is non-refundable.

  • Maris Homes – mobile homes: In the event of early departure, no refund is provided for the unused portion of the agreed stay, unless otherwise agreed or required by applicable law.
  • Kamp Jasenovo – camping pitches: In the event of early departure, the guest must notify reception before leaving the campsite. If departure is announced in good time, the stay is generally charged on the basis of the actual number of nights spent and services used, unless different conditions were expressly agreed at the time of booking. Any overpayment will be refunded following the final calculation.

Changes to reservations

Requests to change the dates, accommodation category, number of guests or length of stay are subject to availability and the Service Provider’s approval.

Changes to a reservation may affect the total accommodation price. If the requested change cannot be accommodated, cancellation of the existing reservation remains subject to the cancellation conditions originally agreed.

Special booking conditions

Different cancellation and refund conditions may apply to certain promotional offers, special rates or reservations made through intermediaries, provided that these conditions were clearly communicated to the user before the reservation was confirmed.

These rules do not limit any rights granted to the user under the mandatory laws of the Republic of Croatia.

USE OF ACCOMMODATION

Maris Homes – mobile homes

A reservation at Maris Oasis Resort is for the selected category of mobile home, not a specific accommodation unit, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Kamp Jasenovo – camping pitches

For stays of four or more days, the reservation is for a specific camping pitch, whose number is confirmed at the time of booking.

For stays shorter than four days, the reservation is for the selected pitch category only, with no guarantee of a specific pitch number.

The Service Provider reserves the right to change a previously assigned or confirmed pitch in exceptional and justified circumstances, such as technical problems, safety concerns or other unforeseen situations that prevent use of the reserved pitch. In such cases, the guest will be informed in advance and provided with a suitable replacement pitch of the same or a higher category at no additional charge.

Check-in, check-out and rules of stay

Check-in and check-out times are determined by the rules of the respective property and communicated to the user before arrival.

During their stay, users must comply with the House Rules of Maris Oasis Resort or Kamp Jasenovo, as applicable, governing check-in and check-out, use of accommodation and shared facilities, and other rules of stay.

Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions and House Rules

By accepting the offer and confirming the reservation, the user acknowledges having familiarised themselves with and accepting these General Terms and Conditions, including the rules and conditions of stay applicable at Maris Oasis Resort and Kamp Jasenovo.

The user undertakes to comply with the House Rules, rules governing the use of accommodation units, shared areas and facilities, and other instructions issued by the Service Provider relating to safety, order and the peaceful enjoyment of the premises by all guests.

The user must inform other persons included in their reservation of the rules of stay and ensure that they comply with those rules while using the agreed services, within the scope of the user’s legal responsibility.

In the event of a breach of the House Rules or other rules of stay, the Service Provider may take appropriate measures, including issuing a warning or, in the case of serious or repeated breaches, terminating the provision of accommodation services, in accordance with applicable law and the agreed terms.

COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

The user has the right to submit a written complaint concerning accommodation services provided, the booking process, charges or other circumstances relating to the use of services at Maris Oasis Resort and Kamp Jasenovo.

A complaint may be submitted:

  • In person at the campsite reception (by entering it in the complaints book).
  • By registered post to: Ulica Jasenova 123, 22000 Žaborić – Šibenik, Croatia.
  • By email to: info@marisoasis.hr.

To facilitate effective handling, complaints should preferably include the user’s full name, contact details, reservation number (if any), a description of the circumstances and any supporting documentation.

The Service Provider must acknowledge receipt of a written complaint without delay and respond in writing within 15 days of receipt, in accordance with the Croatian Consumer Protection Act.

If the complaint concerns an issue that can be resolved during the stay, the user is advised to notify reception without delay to enable a timely resolution.

Submitting a complaint does not limit any other rights available to the user under the applicable laws of the Republic of Croatia.
